I began my financial services career in London, after growing up in the sleepy north Essex village of Great Bardfield.
I worked for independent firms and several large banks, qualifying to give investment and financial planning advice in 2001.
In 2011 I decided to establish my own practice, to ensure I could deal with fewer clients and in a more personal way.
I benefit from working and living locally, both in terms of forging close relationships with our clients but also with other local professionals.
I maintain a healthy interest in the technical aspects of my profession; this has led me to attain Chartered Financial Planner status, along with being a full member of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA).
Outside of work, I am lucky to have a full and busy family life, with two very active children to transport from one place to another.
I try to keep active, play golf (poorly most of the time) and am currently learning to speak Italian.
You might not know: When time allows, I like to bake (sweet things mostly). Any birthday cakes or similar, are my responsibility at family gatherings.
