Our Charities & Sponsorships

As a local and community driven organisation, we have a strong belief that our business should be a force for good.

It should provide value and financial well being for our clients, opportunity and enjoyment for our staff and make a meaningful contribution to our community.

We believe that we have a responsibility to support and nurture the good causes that have often helped our clients, staff, their families, or friends through difficult times.

In March 2026 and as part of our charitable efforts this year, Stephen is due to trek 114km along Spain’s Camino de Santiago to raise funds for a Vocational School in Nepal and to provide support to young people in the UK via Jamie's Farm.  If you would like to know more or to make a donation to support his efforts, please visit – www.justgiving.com/page/stephen-crisp

Our Charities

2026 – Jamie’s Farm

Jamie’s Farm supports young people in the UK, by offering farm-based residential and day visit programmes for those who might be at risk of social or academic exclusion. It provides exposure to purposeful work, a sense of community and wider support, if needed.

In 2026, St. James's Place plc has agreed to double our charitable contribution to these causes, meaning this contribution can go much further.

2026 – Supporting Nepal’s Children

SNC builds vocational centres in Nepal, to enable young people to learn a trade and avoid the common risk of having to rely on low paid and often dangerous migrant work in neighbouring India or UAE. The charity aims to provide a “hand up, not a handout”.

In 2026, St. James's Place plc has agreed to double our charitable contribution to these causes, meaning this contribution can go much further.

2025 – CHESS Homeless

2025 - Braintree Food Bank

Braintree Area Foodbank provides emergency food and practical support to people in their hardest moments and has done for over 10 years. They also work with partners and local communities to ensure everyone gets the right help long before they need a food bank.

Being supported to experience these benefits can mean spending longer in the earlier stages of dementia, which can bring improvements in quality of life.
